Terms & Conditions

About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase goods from The Crystal Tree, whether through our website or from our shop in Ross-on-Wye.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms.

The Crystal Tree is operated by The Crystal Tree Therapy Rooms Ltd.

If you have any questions, please contact us at enquiries@the-crystal-tree.co.uk.

Our Products

We take great care to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible.

Crystals and minerals are natural products and each piece is unique. Colours, patterns, inclusions, markings, cavities, textures and other natural characteristics will vary from piece to piece and are part of what makes each specimen individual.

Where you are purchasing the exact crystal or mineral shown in a photograph, we aim to make this clear in the product description.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the screen or device you are using.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose as required by UK consumer law.

Prices

All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

We make every effort to ensure prices and product information are accurate. If we discover an obvious error before an order has been dispatched, we will contact you before proceeding.

Delivery charges are shown separately where applicable.

Online Orders

When you place an order through our website, you will receive an order confirmation.

Your order is subject to product availability. Occasionally an item may become unavailable before we are able to fulfil an order. If this happens, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.

Before an online order is completed, you will be shown the price of the goods and applicable delivery charges. UK online-selling rules require businesses to make pricing, payment and delivery information clear before the customer places the order.

Payment

Online and in-store payments are processed securely through SumUp.

Payment must be successfully completed before standard online orders are dispatched.

We do not store your full payment card details on The Crystal Tree website.

For more information about how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship throughout the UK and can arrange international shipping individually based on destination, parcel size and weight.

Information about dispatch times, delivery services, international orders and how we package your purchases can be found on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Returns & Refunds

Your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds and exchanges differ depending on whether you purchased online or in our physical shop.

Full information can be found in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

We occasionally create bespoke macramé pieces to a customer's individual requirements.

We will discuss the design with you before making your item. Payment is not required until the piece has been completed and you are happy with it.

Once a bespoke item has been approved and purchased, it cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available to purchase from our shop in Ross-on-Wye.

The Crystal Tree gift vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the voucher and vouchers must be used before this date.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

In-Store Purchases

Please choose carefully when purchasing from our shop, as we do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you have changed your mind.

Many of our crystals and mineral specimens are individual natural pieces. We encourage you to examine your chosen item before purchasing and ask us any questions you may have.

Natural variations, inclusions, markings and imperfections that are characteristic of crystals and minerals are not considered faults.

This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of consumer law. Businesses cannot use contractual terms to remove these statutory protections.

Crystal Information

Information about crystals, minerals and their geology is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Some areas of The Crystal Tree website also discuss traditional, historical, spiritual or metaphysical beliefs associated with crystals. These are presented as beliefs, traditions or personal practices rather than scientifically established effects.

Any such information is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and should not be used as a substitute for appropriate professional medical care.

Website Content

We take reasonable care to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date.

From time to time, information may need to be corrected or updated. We may also change products, prices, availability and website content where appropriate.

Any external websites linked from The Crystal Tree are operated independently of us. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, graphics, branding and other original content on The Crystal Tree website belong to The Crystal Tree and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our permission.

You are welcome to share links to our publicly available website pages.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to your rights under applicable law.

I've kept this wording deliberately restrained because the CMA warns businesses against terms that attempt to remove or excessively limit responsibility when the business is at fault.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Information about what personal information we collect, why we use it and your data-protection rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, services or legal requirements.

The version published on our website at the time you place an order will apply to that purchase.
