Description

Shungite Pentagram

This polished Shungite pentagram is a striking display piece, carved from natural Shungite with its characteristic deep black colouring and smooth polished finish.

Measuring approximately 130mm across and 130mm high, with a thickness of around 8mm, it makes an interesting addition to a crystal collection, display shelf or meditation space.

Shungite is an unusual carbon-rich rock found mainly in Karelia, Russia, and is thought to have formed around two billion years ago. Its distinctive composition and long history have made it one of the more unusual materials found in the crystal world.

The five-pointed pentagram has been used symbolically in many cultures and traditions over centuries. Some people choose this shape for its symbolism, while others simply enjoy its strong geometric design.
