Fluorite Angels 75mm

These beautifully carved Fluorite Angels are made from natural Rainbow Fluorite, with each piece displaying its own combination of colour, translucency and natural patterning.

Approximately 75mm tall, the two individual angels currently available show lovely shades of green, purple and clearer Fluorite. Because the colour zoning within Fluorite develops naturally, no two carvings will ever look quite the same.

About Rainbow Fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride (CaF₂), a naturally occurring mineral famous for its remarkable variety of colours. Purple and green are particularly familiar, and different colours can occur together in bands or zones within a single specimen — often described as Rainbow Fluorite.

Polishing brings out the mineral’s glass-like lustre and can reveal beautiful areas of translucency and internal structure.

Fluorite has a Mohs hardness of 4 and perfect cleavage in four directions, so these carvings should be handled with a little care to protect them from scratches and chips.

The Angel form

Angels have been used as symbols of protection, guidance and comfort across different cultures and spiritual traditions.

Some people choose crystal angels because of that symbolism or incorporate them into meditation and personal spiritual practices. Others simply enjoy them as decorative carvings and appreciate the combination of the traditional angel form with the natural beauty of the mineral.

As always, the meaning you give your crystal is entirely personal.
