Rainbow Moonstone Dragon Necklace

This remarkable Rainbow Moonstone Dragon Necklace was created by StoneAge in Glastonbury, combining an intricately detailed dragon with a beautiful Rainbow Moonstone cabochon.

The dragon is crafted in 925 sterling silver, its wings spreading around the central gemstone as though holding it within the design. At approximately 70mm across the wings and 78mm long, this is a substantial statement piece rather than a small pendant.

The necklace weighs approximately 25g and is supplied with a sterling silver chain, ready to wear.

The Rainbow Moonstone

Despite its name, Rainbow Moonstone is actually a variety of labradorite, part of the feldspar mineral family.

Its appeal comes from the flashes of colour that can appear as the stone moves in the light. Depending on the individual stone and viewing angle, these can range through blue and silvery tones and sometimes show additional colours.

The polished cabochon in this necklace forms the focal point of the dragon design, contrasting beautifully with the detailed silverwork surrounding it.
