This impressive Lepidolite Angel is a substantial one-off carving, weighing 1.424kg and standing approximately 19.5–20cm tall. Its soft lilac and lavender colouring is accompanied by the natural shimmer characteristic of lepidolite, with a small presence of pink tourmaline visible on the back.

Lepidolite belongs to the mica group of minerals and is naturally rich in lithium. Its layered crystal structure produces the pearly to shimmering appearance that can be seen across this carving.

The angel has been smoothly polished while retaining the natural variations within the stone. Its size makes it particularly striking as a display piece, while the carved wings and flowing form allow different areas of colour and texture to become visible as you move around it.
