Description

Sodalite Flame — Brazilian Origin

These Sodalite Flame carvings are sourced from Brazil, and the quality is immediately apparent. Brazilian sodalite is prized for its deeper colour saturation, strong contrast between blues and whites, and overall density — qualities that are clearly visible in these pieces. They are striking, well-balanced carvings with a smooth, refined finish.

We currently have two flames available:

  • Flame A (smaller, centre of photo):
    Approx. 272g, 10.5cm tall

  • Flame B (taller, left of photo):
    Approx. 379g, 11cm tall

Each flame has its own character, created by the natural patterning of the stone and the hand-carved form.

The Flame Form

Flame carvings are visually dynamic and sculptural, making them ideal as display pieces. The upward movement of the flame shape creates a sense of focus and momentum, drawing the eye naturally upward. These forms work particularly well on shelves, desks, or display cabinets where they can be appreciated from multiple angles.

Feng Shui Placement

In Feng Shui, flame-shaped objects are associated with the Fire element, which represents clarity, motivation, and forward movement. Sodalite flames are often placed in workspaces, studios, or study areas, where they can support concentration and thoughtful decision-making while adding a strong visual accent. Their vertical form also makes them effective for energising smaller spaces without overwhelming them.
