Description

Natural Brazilian Citrine Flame – Lightly Heat Treated

This beautiful Brazilian Citrine Flame features a delicate, pale golden-yellow colour and wonderful natural internal features, all revealed through its carefully polished surface.

The crystal has a lovely translucent appearance, allowing light to pass through and illuminate its internal veils, fine inclusions and delicate fracture patterns. Its gentle golden colouring becomes slightly deeper towards parts of the edges, creating a beautiful contrast as the piece is turned in the light.

Carefully shaped into an elegant flame, this individual piece stands 66mm tall and has a polished, flat base for display.

~

Citrine is the yellow to golden variety of Quartz, a mineral composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂).

This piece originates from Brazil and was supplied to us as natural Citrine that has received a slight heat treatment to enhance its colour.

Unlike the strongly orange or reddish-brown Citrine commonly produced by heating Amethyst, this piece retains a delicate, pale golden appearance.

We believe in being transparent about our crystals and their treatments, so you can appreciate each piece for what it is.
